Worminess

For the past 5 years or so I have been talking about starting a worm box/bin.  I have carried the plans through 6 moves...with the final move (at least for a while) impending, I decided it was time to start planning.  I found the wrinkled and stained plans just the other day....so I decided to start preparing for the new wormy home!  As you can see...I started collecting my organic materials for the upcoming buffet!  (yes that is the small plastic recycle bin I made at work).

While traipsing around on the internet I found TheCompostGuy!  He has a fairly extensive video on how to build the best B&B for your red wrigglers!

But the dilemma!  Where to find worms?  Sure, there are tons of places online....but nothing locally...yet.  I have talked to the garden club, a couple of local farms and just about anyone who will listen.  So while I keep collecting organic materials for the little slimy guys to eat...I keep searching!  More to come!
